"A surprizing and very excelent sounding speaker" 2009-06-30
    By J. Ilish (hampton va.)
Well they have a sound that sparkles in the mid/high range, and maybe deserves 5 stars for that alone because there a 2/way speaker design!

I didnt know they would be so marvelous so i set them for rear 7.1 L/R back surround and mounted bic ht-63 bi-polar spkr on the side walls, but had i known what i do now i would bought 2 pair! The dynamics are remarkable also for home theater, loud and hard exploding sound from a 6.5" woofer ive ever heard,i have the beta 50s on front L/R ALSO!!

The beta 20s are real heavy and thickly made,a knuckle rap issues no drum sound like most do,like hitting a coconut kinda! I bought the audiosourse amp 200 just for the 20s and i bi-amped them,90 watts didnt cause them to distort or strain or vibrate around but everything else was danceing on that cabinet! jez there loud but musical magic is there forte and not brite but clear sparkley highs and midrange! Nice tight bass responce,no boom or bloated bass here but firm! I have the beta c-360 ch spkr too,its a 3/way and its a big beast 34 lbs and it has 2 of the the same 6.5" spkrs in there and a 4"midrange and 1"tweeter,had too wall mount that on a shelf, scary huh! HONESTLY I ASK HARMAN WHY QUIT THE BETA LINE,they said they didnt have a replacement series for the decision but ala the classica series emerged, not as loved as the betas so far according too reveiws! THESE {BETA}SPKR LINE ARE A STEAL RIGHT NOW AND THERES NO BETTER SPKR FOR THE PRICES IVE SEEN,NOT BYE FAR!
