Have owned a pair for a year or so. Lot's of bang for the buck!
These certainly are "loudspeakers". Am an old guy and still enjoy listening to my old-guy music at high volume levels periodically.
You would be hard-pressed to find a better deal on a great set!

The speaker is quite large and a bit unconventional but its substantial size and heavy weight ensure quality sound. The speakers fail to disappoint. Its robust and deep sound is refreshing when compared to the ubiquitous "satellite" speakers that most consumers seem to favor. The mid and high ranges sound great through the two smaller speakers. Its rated wattage capacity is impressive; they can be driven very hard. Though JBL notes that it has multiple mounting options, be aware that it constitutes two small bolts on the top of the cabinet (spaced 4 inches apart). Brackets or some other hardware would be needed to securely fasten these to a wall, ceiling, etc.

Easily transportable size, not too heavy. They fill the room with quality sound, loud or soft for Music or Home theater, They also work very well for a small portable PA setup, for about 50 people depending on room acoustics. If you want to go for a group of say 100 get 4 of these and stack them. The tweeters are crisp and clear, the bass is clean and solid for a 10 inch woofer. For the price they are one of the best speaker deals around.

For $125 delivered this speaker is very good. You get a ten inch woofer and two 3 inch tweeters. The design is different fron the typical squared off box because the tweeters are on the side corners and the corners are rounded so they spread the sound out at 45 degree angles from the front. They look very good. The picture does not do them justice. They also look very cool if you turn them on their side so tweeters are on top and bottom. Sound good that way too. No way for this price you can get a decent rocking speaker like this. Midrange is not as good as smaller speaker since this is basically a woofer and a tweeter but then most speakers this price would lack its bass. Also if you have a smaller clearer speaker you can hook it up on the same channel for midrange. Make sure you know the difference between parallel and serial speaker hookups if you do that because if you do it wrong the sound will suck. As I said, I bought 2 , liked them so much I got three more. Also the construction is VERY SOLID not like many other speakers. Get them, just do it.
